When I was younger, I couldn’t wait to be a grown-up.
I dreamt what I would do and see.
Entertain as an actor and singer.
Save people as a doctor.
Minister to their souls as a Priestess.
Some things I got to do over the years, but not the way I had expected.
I focused on surface things and thought I was a grown-up.
The real growth is in realizing that being a grown-up isn’t all that.
It’s seeing a child play for the simple joy of play. It’s laughter that makes your sides hurt.
