If you could pick any fictional animal to be your lifelong companion (like a Pokémon or fantasy pet), what would it be?

This is an easy one. A dragon. I love dragons. For the fictional piece, let’s have a Luck Dragon, Falkor, from Never Ending Story. He was the first one that caught my eye as being a companion. He’s friendly, loving and can fly. All I need.
