I have been here so long; I no longer smell the odor of death that’s everywhere.
So tired, I keep going because of love.
Waiting for the inevitable to come.
On that day, we join soul to soul while Mother Nature sheds tears of rain.
The thunder echoes my grief.
My body dances in the rain as we embrace for the last time.
Now I can sleep knowing that we will see each other again when it’s my turn.
